The Show “Desperate Housewives”, Cast, Pictures, and Trivia about Desperate Housewives.
This was a primetime series that was, from the first moment, an incredible hit. It starts out with the suicide of one of the residents of the street, “Wisteria Lane”.
From there, the woman, Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong), goes on to describe her neighbors and the problems in each of their lives. This also sets the tone for the entire series and keeps you completely hooked from beginning to end.
The series is based on an ensemble cast that includes four central characters, without all of whom the show could not and would not exist. There were however many other roles that either started out as or became an absolutely essential part of the show. Some of them were only on for one or two episodes and the storyline just grew and grew, and now you can’t imagine a show without them. This series seems to include everything. From drama and suspense to comedy, it runs the gamut and still manages to keep you guessing at what is going to happen next. The storylines are so intricate and compelling, that you become completely absorbed in watching each and every episode to see what will happen next to your favorite characters.
Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher)-Susan is a divorced mother of a teenage daughter who is looking for love. She is attractive, funny, clumsy and at times a little neurotic, but a good person and someone in whom you can confide in and count on. Raised by a single mother, all Susan knew about her father was that he was killed in the Battle of Hanoi during the Vietnam War. She was a cheerleader and valedictorian of her class and a basically happy person. While in her mid-twenties’, after graduating from Community College and starting to write and illustrate children’s books, she then got married and had her daughter. After that, the family moved to Wisteria Lane. She is now single and interested in a new resident of the street, Mike Delfino (James Denton). Let’s just hope she doesn’t have to lure him with her cooking skills!
Bree Van de Kamp (Marcia Cross)-Bree is the type of woman who strives to be perfect at everything. From motherhood to marriage to housekeeping. The problem is there always seems to be roadblocks standing in the way of her “perfect life”. She grew up with a demanding step-mother who did not like her (the feelings were mutual), and finally was able to escape by going to college. During her time at college, she attended a Young Republicans’ meeting where she met her husband. They had two children and moved to Wisteria Lane. Unfortunately, despite her great efforts, as well as what can only be described as her obsessive-compulsive disorder, Bree’s life is far from perfect. Although, unlike her friend Susan, she does have excellent cooking skills and can handle a gun better than most criminals.
Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria)-Gabrielle is an ex-model who is beautiful, sexy, bored and unhappy in her marriage. Because of this, she begins an affair with her 17-year old gardener in order to keep herself entertained. Gabrielle grew up in Texas, with her mother and father until her father died of cancer. After which, her mother married a man named Alejandro Perez (Tony Plana), who abused her sexually during her teenage years, causing her to flee to New York City at only fifteen years old and become a model. Once her career started to fade, she married her husband (who proposed after only three dates) and they moved to Wisteria Lane. Now however, her husband’s main interest is work and making money. Leaving Gabrielle lonely and bored.
Lynette Savor (Felicity Huffman)-Lynette is a wife and mother of four sons. She has three sisters and a mother with whom she does not really get along. Her mother remarried after the death of her father, and Lynette adored him. Unfortunately, he left after just a short time and Lynette held her mother responsible. She met her husband when she was working in advertising, after graduating from Northwestern University. After they were married, they moved to Wisteria Lane and she became a stay-at-home mother. She is stressed out and lonely. Her husband is away on business quite a lot, which leaves her at home with all of the kids by herself. And despite her love for both her children and her husband, the situation is making her resentful and angry.
Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong)-Mary Alice appears to have an idyllic life in every way, until she commits suicide. Her life is then a series of small pieces that are slowly strung together until a clearer picture emerges. She is seen now and then in dream sequences and flashbacks that involved her before her death. Mary Alice is perhaps the most important on the show, because she is the narrator and the one who provides the many stories and secrets about the residents of Wisteria Lane.
Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan)-Edie is the neighborhood tramp. She is a real-estate agent and has been married two times, resulting in the birth of one child, a son named Travers. She has a habit of sleeping with ex-husbands and former lovers’ of past and present acquaintances. Friends are not something that Edie has a lot of and at the moment she is attracted to neighbor Mike Delfino. This of course creates a problem since her neighbor Susan is interested in him as well.
Paul Young (Mark Moses)-Paul is the husband of Mary Alice Young and the father of Zach Young (Cody Kasch). He appears to be a typical father and husband but also seems to have an air of mystery about him. He is distraught over the death of his wife and cannot bring himself to go through her belongings and instead requests that her friends (Bree, Susan, Gabrielle and Lynette) do it. This of course leads to the discovery of the note that is the basis for many of the storylines in the first season and beyond.
Mike Delfino (James Denton)-Mike is the new neighbor on Wisteria Lane. He is a handsome plumber, kind, friendly and has a great smile. But, behind his smile is a secret. He has actually moved to Wisteria Lane so that he can track down some information. The information is in regards to an ex-girlfriend of his named Deirdre. Years ago, she and Mike were drug addicts and had since disappeared. Deirdre’s father wants Mike to find out what has happened to her before he dies. Mike agreed and the search has led him to Wisteria Lane.
Rex Van de Kamp (Steven Culp)-Rex is the husband of Bree Van de Kamp. He is also a physician and father to their two children, Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom) and Danielle (Joy Lauren). Rex wants a divorce from his wife, and cites the reason as being that he can’t continue to “live in this detergent commercial”. The real reason for his unhappiness in the marriage has to do with their sex life. Because in truth, what Rex really wants is for his wife to sexually dominate him. However, he cannot bring himself to ask her this and starts having an affair instead with a local neighborhood woman named Maisy Gibbons (Sharon Lawrence). The twist being that Maisy is not just a housewife but also runs a prostitution business on the side.
Carlos Solis (Ricardo Antonio Chavira)-Carlos is the husband of Gabrielle Solis. He was born in Mexico and lived only with his mother after the age of four. (His father having left the family for a local waitress.) He went to college on a golf scholarship, and met Gabrielle while attending a fashion show, and after only three dates proposed marriage. Now Carlos is quite successful and thinks that he has everything. Well, almost everything, the one thing that he wants but does not have is a family, and he is willing to go to great lengths to achieve this. Not knowing of course that his wife is incredibly unhappy. He soon finds out about Gabrielle’s infidelity, and things continue to go downhill from there.
Julie Mayer (Andrea Bowen)-Julie is the teenage daughter of housewife, Susan Mayer. She is smart and pretty and acts more like the parent of the house than the child. After her parents divorced she was the one who provided her mother with both companionship and emotional support. And now she is also the person to whom her mother turns, when a romantic relationship starts to turn sour.
John Rowland (Jesse Metcalfe)-John is the Solis’s sexy, seventeen year-old gardener, with whom Gabrielle starts an affair. And though John falls in love with her, and tries to win her over, many problems arise due to his age and the circumstances involved.
Zach Young (Cody Kasch)-Zach is the son of Mary Alice and Paul Young. Because of his mother’s recent suicide, he has fallen into a deep depression and his father’s solution is to send him to a mental home. While there, Susan’s daughter Julie sneaks into his room so that she can tell him a few things. He later escapes and returns to Wisteria Lane, where certain events as well as his true nature, soon create a number of problems.
Betty Applewhite (Alfre Woodard)-Betty is the single mother of two sons, Matthew (Mehcad Brooks) and Caleb (Page Kennedy and NaShawn Kearse), and also a woman with a secret past. They create suspicion immediately when they move onto Wisteria Lane in the middle of the night, but the mystery doesn’t stop there. Betty was raised by very religious parents and has become intensely religious herself. She appears to be generally kind to most people, but as a mother she seems to be somewhat cruel and overbearing. She does however have one talent and that is her gift as a pianist. But unfortunately the secrets of her past are about to catch up with her.
Tom Scavo (Doug Savant)-Tom is the husband of Lynette Scavo, and the father of their four children. He is a man who really does love his wife and children; he is just totally oblivious to the fact that all the time he spends away from home on business is creating issues for his wife. He also has a secret that only his father knows, and that is about his daughter, Kayla Huntington (Rachel Fox). Tom found out that a one-night stand before his marriage to Lynette has resulted in a daughter and is afraid to tell his wife. Thus creating a difficult and complicated situation.
Karl Mayer (Richard Burgi)-Karl is the ex-husband of housewife, Susan Mayer. He is Julie’s father and a successful lawyer. He and Susan were divorced, due to his extramarital affair with his secretary and their subsequent relationship. After ending it with his secretary, Karl asks Susan for another chance but she tell him no. This is mostly due to her feelings for Mike Delfino, but also because she found out that Karl had been flirting with Edie Britt during their marriage. Shortly after Susan’s rejection, Karl starts to date Edie, and then quickly moves in with her.
Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan)-Orson is the man who becomes Bree Van de Kamp’s second husband. He is a dentist with a dark and complicated past. He also grew up with very religious parents and when his father cheated on his mother, it created such a scandal that his father never really recovered from it and became an alcoholic. When Orson got his girlfriend Alma pregnant, he decided to do the honorable thing and marry her, despite the fact that he was not in love with her. After she lost their baby, he started having an affair with a woman named Monique. Alma finds out and fakes her death in order to make him pay for his deceit, but the police file no charges. He then attempts to have a life with Monique but finds that she has been killed by his own mother. His mother claims it was an accident, and persuades Orson (albeit reluctantly) to help her cover it up. A decision which he will later come to regret. And then he meets and falls in love with Bree Van de Kamp, complicating his life even further.
Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany)-Katherine is a former resident of Wisteria Lane. She had an aunt who used to live on the street and at one point was staying with her to escape the violent behavior of her first husband, police officer Wayne Davis (Gary Cole). During a visit to his daughter Dylan, there was an argument between the two and after he left, Katherine found that the little girl had accidentally been killed. Terrified of what would happen if he found out the truth, she adopted another little girl of about the same age and looks, naming her Dylan as well. Now, years later, she and her current husband, Adam Mayfair (Nathan Fillion) have moved back to Wisteria Lane to care for her dying aunt. She was formerly friends with both Mary Alice Young and Susan Mayer. She is noted to have quite a resemblance to Bree, in that she is an excellent housekeeper, cook etc., but the difference lies within her personality. She has a very cold disposition and is somewhat mysterious and even Susan who used to know her thinks that she has changed.
Dave Williams (Neal McDonough)-Dave is the husband of Edie Britt. Edie, who has been gone from the lane for a while, decides to move back with her new husband in tow. He appears to be friendly, cultured and polite, but his true and vengeful nature soon becomes apparent. It is revealed that he is a widower, and that his wife and daughter were killed in a car accident, before his marriage to Edie. He has come to Wisteria Lane for only one purpose, and that is to get revenge on the person who he thinks is responsible for their deaths, Mike Delfino.
Andrew Van de Kamp (Shawn Pyfrom)-Andrew is the son of Bree and Rex Van de Kamp. He is first seen quarreling with his mother about the fact that her and his father are getting a divorce. He is closer to his father and blames his mother for driving him away. He seems to have a lot of issues, and much to the dismay of his parents, eventually admits to being gay.
Angie Bolen (Drea de Matteo)-Angie is an Italian woman from New York with a dangerous past. She is married to a man named Nick (Jeffrey Nordling), and has a son named Danny (Beau Mirchoff). She was an engineering major in college and dropped out in order to join a group of eco-terrorist. She fell in love with the leader of the group, Patrick Logan (John Barrowman). He requested that she build him a bomb for what was supposed to be used against a corporate company, in an empty building. However, a man was accidentally killed, leaving Angie with both a scar and the guilt. She runs away with Nick who was a private investigator at the time and had been following their group. She realizes that she is pregnant but that the baby is Patrick’s. Nick agrees to raise the child as his own, and they spend the next two decades on the run from both the FBI and Patrick. Arriving on Wisteria Lane under yet another alias, the family does their best to fit in.
Ana Solis (Maiara Walsh)-Ana is a distant relation of Carlos and Gabrielle Solis. Ana’s grandmother said that she could no longer take care of her granddaughter, so she is being sent to live with relatives. Soon after she arrives on Wisteria Lane, Gabrielle comes to see just what kind of girl she really is. In some ways, Ana reminds Gabrielle of how she used to be when she was younger, using her looks to acquire things, and being shallow and uncaring. Although Ana does seem to be more conniving though than Gabrielle was, and that is what really concerns her.
Renee Perry (Vanessa Williams)-Renee arrives on Wisteria Lane, but is not a complete stranger to everyone. She is a friend from Lynette Scavo’s college days, and has come under the pretense of visiting with Lynette. She soon reveals however, that her husband (a major league baseball player), has chosen to divorce her. After staying with the Scavo’s for a little while, Renee decides that she wants to stay on Wisteria Lane and rents the house of Edie Britt. Having a friend close by is always nice, except if that friend shares a secret with someone else in your life, of which you are completely unaware. And this proves especially true if that “friend” turns out to be, your husband.
Karen McCluskey (Kathryn Joosten)-Karen starts out as an enemy of sorts, of Lynette Scavo in particular. She also manages to anger several of the other neighbors as well at various times. She is an older woman who has a somewhat sordid past, but is also very loving deep down. It soon comes to be known that she had a son many years ago, and he unfortunately died when he was only twelve years old. Karen also tends to be the one at the center of things when there is some kind of commotion going on. And more often than not, she is the one who starts it all.
Bob Hunter and Lee McDermott (Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm)-Bob and Lee are a gay couple who come to Wisteria Lane because they want to escape the “city life”. Bob is a lawyer and his partner, Lee is a real-estate agent. When they first arrive, one of their neighbors, Susan Delfino, tries to welcome them. Somehow, Susan manages to offend them instead, and despite repeated efforts to gain their friendship, ends up alienating them even further. Soon after, they have problems with the entire community when they purchase a fountain for their yard. It is loud and irritates everyone, thus creating several issues. One of which is their using blackmail on of their neighbors in order to keep the troublesome fountain.
Chuck Vance (Jonathan Cake)-Chuck is a police investigator in Fairview, who, at the moment, is keeping watch over someone on Wisteria Lane. After a call is received about an address on that street, he is the one who answers it. The address turns out to be Bree’s house, and after the mix-up is straightened out, Chuck realizes that he is attracted to Bree. He gives her his phone number and she eventually agrees to a date.
Ben Faulkner (Charles Mesure)-Ben is a real-estate developer from Australia. He helps older people and the homeless, and attracts the attention of Renee Perry. Renee wants Ben to ask her out on a date, but Ben at first does not seem interested. Finally, the two do go out, and they start to bond when they discover that they were both poor as children. The relationship continues from there, but not without a few bumps along the road.
Juanita Solis (Madison De La Garza)-Juanita is the daughter of Carlos and Gabrielle. Named after Carlos’s dead mother, she is somewhat of a troublemaker and always seems to be involved in some sort of naughtiness.
Danielle Van de Kamp (Joy Lauren)-Danielle is the daughter of Bree and Rex, as well as the sister of Andrew. She is a girl who cares more about her looks and having a boyfriend than anything else. And after realizing that acting a certain way around her parents will get her more of the attention she craves, she begins to do this on a regular basis.
This show has a myriad of storylines, as well as actors throughout its eight seasons. It is intricate, creative and attention-grabbing. If you enjoy trying to figure out just who did what to whom and when, this is the series for you. I give it 8 out of 10.

The series creator of the show is Marc Cherry. Cherry’s inspiration for the popular series came from watching the Andrea Yates trials. (The Texas woman who drowned her children in the bathtub.) Cherry who was in dire financial straits at the time, started to write the script in 2002. He had no job and was wondering whether or not writing was going to be his future.
Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) worked for three years at a Wendy’s fast food restaurant in Texas, while attending high school.
Doug Savant (Tom Scavo) played a small role on the series’ “Knots Landing”. The amazing thing is that for the role he played, he was teamed up with Nicollette Sheridan who would later be one of his co-stars on Desperate Housewives. Also, Savant was on the series, “Melrose Place” with future co-star Marcia Cross as well.
Teri Hatcher is a former NFL cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers.
Mark Moses (Paul Young) was in the 1991 movie “The Doors”, with fellow co-star on Desperate Housewives, Kyle MacLachlan.
Alfre Woodard (Betty Applewhite) was named by her godmother because she claimed that she had seen a vision containing Alfre’s name in gold letters.
The pilot for Desperate Housewives was supposed to be shot in a real-life Los Angeles neighborhood, but it was soon apparent that there were too many difficulties involved to do this. Instead, they chose to shoot it on what is called “Colonial Street”, which is a back lot at Universal Studios. This particular back lot street set has been used since the 1940’s. Some very popular television shows as well as films have been shot here. For example, The Munsters, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Psycho, Providence, So Goes My Love, Bedtime for Bonzo, The ‘Burbs and Gremlins, as well as countless others. Bree Van de Kamp’s house was actually the house used in the show “Providence”. And Betty Applewhite’s house was formerly 1313 Mockingbird Lane, which of course was the home of “The Munsters”. A complete overhaul of the set was done so as to achieve the exact look that the show required, costing around $700,000.
In 2004, Steven Culp (Rex Van de Kamp) became the first actor ever to perform as a recurring character on four different TV series at the same time.
Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) is married to actor, William H. Macy, and has appeared with her husband numerous times on stage, screen and television. They also have two daughters.
Nicollette Sheridan (Edie Britt) was born in England. Her mother, actress Sally Sheridan, had an affair with actor Telly Savalas in 1969, after working together on the James Bond film, “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. After the film was finished they moved to the U.S. and had a son, but several years later separated.
Before marrying stockbroker Tom Mahoney in 2006, Marcia Cross was the long-time partner of Richard Jordan. Jordan, who was an actor of stage, screen and television, was older than Cross by more than 25 years. He died in August of 1993 from a brain tumor.
When James Denton (Mike Delfino) was in high school, he dated country music singer Deana Carter. He was allegedly the inspiration for her song, “Strawberry Wine”.
The Desperate Housewives finale in 2012 was the most watched of that entire year. The pilot of the show was also the best performing pilot that the lagging ABC network had achieved since the series “Spin City”, was introduced in 1996.
Vanessa Williams‘ (Renee Perry) birth announcement actually contains the words, “Here she is: Miss America”. This of course being quite prophetic of her parents, as if they knew she would become Miss America at her birth! She was, of course, forced to give up her title early due to unfortunate events surrounding nude photographs of herself. However, since then, she has become a major success and is almost without question, the most accomplished of all Miss America title holders.
Teri Hatcher went to Hollywood, just out of her teens, for the purpose of lending moral support to a friend during an open casting call. What happened from there was that she auditioned, got the part of a singing/dancing mermaid on the series, “Love Boat”, and dropped out of college to pursue acting.
Ricardo Chavira (Carlos Solis) is a strong supporter of breast cancer research. Sadly, the reason for this is that his mother Elizabeth Chavira, died from breast and ovarian cancer at only 43 years old. He has also participated in many of the events dealing with breast cancer, such as being a spokesman for the Susan G. Komen charity, and being the National Team Captain for the Race for the Cure in Washington, D.C. among others.

Drea de Matteo (Angie Bolen) is actually very good friends with the man who played her ex-lover on Desperate Housewives, John Barrowman (Patrick Logan). Barrowman actually has an autobiography in which de Matteo is mentioned.
One of the reasons that the show stayed so popular throughout its entire run was due to the five-year jump forward in the fifth season.
Andrea Bowen (Julie Mayer) first appeared on Broadway in 1996. She played the part of Young Cosette/Young Eponine in a production of Les Miserables. She is the youngest actress to ever play the role at a mere six years of age.
Marc Cherry, who created the show, made a small appearance as a mover in the last episode of the series.
During the third season, Marcia Cross who played Bree Van de Kamp missed the last eight episodes due to her real-life pregnancy issues. Cross had been having problems with her pregnancy and was subsequently put on bed rest. She even tried filming one of the shows from her actual bedroom but in the end she still had no choice but to take a maternity leave.
Felicity Huffman has divulged that she had both bulimia and anorexia when she was younger.
In December of 2006, there was a fund raising auction for the charity ChildLine, in Great Britain. The highest bid of the auction was for a walk-on role on the Desperate Housewives series. The bid was for more than $27,000. This actually beat out the tuxedo worn by Daniel Craig in the movie, “Casino Royale”.
Kathryn Joosten had not one, but two careers. When she was younger, she was a psychiatric nurse, who married a psychiatrist and had two sons. Her and her husband divorced in 1980. Following that, she then started doing Community Theater at the age of 42. Thirteen years later she moved to Hollywood and embarked upon a full and amazing career for the next seventeen years.
Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) had a scene where she had to fall into a wedding cake. During the scene, she broke two of her ribs, but was adamant that they not stop filming.
Steven Culp won the 7th season Championship game on the popular “Celebrity Poker Showdown” series.
Nicollette Sheridan dated singer Leif Garrett in her late teens and early twenties. More than 20 years later, Garrett acknowledged Sheridan’s contribution to beginning his career. He says to this day that “She’s a special person in my life”.
Some of the more well-known fans of the series’ were Oprah Winfrey and former First Lady Laura Bush. Winfrey was actually invited to the set and devoted a portion of one of her show’s (The Oprah Winfrey Show) to her visit there.
Kyle MacLachlan (Orson Hodge) is married with one child. His wife, Desiree Gruber, is an executive producer on the hit reality show, “Project Runway”.
Alfre Woodard has been in four different films with actress Mary McDonnell. They were “Grand Canyon”, “Passion Fish”, “Blue Chips” and “Mumford”, and all were during the 1990’s.
Doug Savant married his co-star from “Melrose Place” in 1998. The actress is Laura Leighton, who played Sydney Andrews on the show. They have two children together.
Eva Longoria is featured in many different companies’ campaigns, and is also a partner in several restaurants called “Beso” (meaning kiss in Spanish). More importantly, she founded the charity “Eva’s Heroes” in 2006. Eva’s Heroes helps developmentally disabled children. Longoria is also a supporter of many other charities and organizations. The Hollywood Supporter named her philanthropist of the year due to her dedication to Latino causes as well as for her generosity in giving back to the community.
Ranked as #4 on TV Guide’s list of “TV’s 10 Biggest Brats” were the Scavo brothers (Porter, Parker and Preston) on Desperate Housewives.
When the series creator Marc Cherry told his mother in real-life that he was gay, her response to him was “I’d love you even if you were a murderer”. When Bree’s son on the show, Andrew, tells her that he is gay, her response is exactly the same as what Cherry’s mother said to him.
Teri Hatcher, it has been speculated, did not get along well with the rest of the “housewives” on the show. This problem, whatever it may have been, started at the beginning of the show and apparently continued until the very end. No one from the show has disclosed any specific information regarding the issue however.
Nicollette Sheridan filed a lawsuit against series creator Marc Cherry and the ABC network in 2010, for the amount of $20 million dollars. She said that she was assaulted by Cherry on the set, and then informed the network, and was subsequently fired. Sheridan had a number of claims attached to the lawsuit, including that Cherry was abusive to not just her but other cast members and writers as well. The four main “housewives” gave their full support to Cherry in his battle with Sheridan. After several amendments to the original lawsuit, as well as a mistrial, the court decided in favor of both Marc Cherry and ABC.
Vanessa Williams co-authored a book with her mother Helen, which was published in 2012. The book called “You Have No Idea”, talks about Williams’ childhood, as well as difficult times in her life. One being that she was molested when she was ten years old by a woman and another was that she had an abortion while she was only a teenager.
A younger fan of the show so adored the dress worn by Gabrielle in the pilot episode that she wrote to the producers’. She inquired if she could get the designer’s name so that she might ask him if he would design her a dress for her prom. They didn’t give her his name but instead sent her the actual dress, which she happily wore to her prom.
Dana Delany was #9 on People Magazine’s annual list of “100 Most Beautiful” in 2011.
Orson Bean is married to actress Alley Mills. Mills and Bean played love interests of each other on the popular show, “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”. They have been married since 1993.
Marcia Cross had in vitro fertilization shortly after her marriage in 2006. Though she had difficulties in the pregnancy, in the end she was blessed with fraternal twin girls’ named Eden and Savannah. She was 44 years old.
Teri Hatcher was sexually abused from the age of five. The abuse came from an uncle, Richard Hayes Stone, who was related only by marriage. Years later in 2002, Hatcher helped the prosecutors of Santa Clara County to make a case against Stone for a molestation that had taken place more recently. The molestation of this victim had led the girl to commit suicide at the age of eleven years old. Hatcher said that the thought of that girl and her suicide were the reason she told the prosecutor’s about her own abuse. She was scared that Stone might escape conviction. In the end, he plead guilty to four counts of child molestation and was sentenced to14 years in prison. He only served six years of his prison term however, as he died from colon cancer in 2008.
James Denton is married with two children.
Eva Longoria‘s marriage to San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker, ended in divorce in 2011. After only three years of marriage, Longoria filed for divorce due to the discovery of hundreds of text messages from a woman named Erin Barry on her husbands’ phone. The woman was the wife of one of Parker’s former teammates. They (the Barrys’) were divorcing as well.
